Terms.
The agreement between you and Dreamgraph, in plain English.
Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using Dreamgraph you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Dreamgraph. If you tell us a date of birth that puts you under 18, we will not accept it.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Give us accurate information, and keep your details current if you want the patterns to reflect you properly. Everything beyond your email address and a location is optional.
What Dreamgraph is
Dreamgraph is a dream journal with collective pattern analysis. You write down your dreams, we label their themes, and we compare those labels against a research baseline to see what a region or a group is dreaming about.
Dreamgraph is not medical, psychological, diagnostic or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Signals, themes and anything else we show you are observations about aggregate data. They are not statements about you, your health or your future. If a dream or a pattern worries you, speak to a qualified professional. In an emergency in Australia, call 000, or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Your content
Your dreams are yours. You keep ownership of everything you write.
You grant us the licence we need to run the service: to store your entries, to send their text to our AI provider for theme extraction and moderation, to count their themes in aggregate, and, where you have turned excerpt sharing on, to show short anonymous excerpts to other people. That licence lasts as long as the content is in the service, and ends for excerpts as soon as you turn sharing off or delete the entry.
Acceptable use
- Do not post unlawful content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
- Do not attempt to identify another dreamer, or use the service to work out who wrote an excerpt.
- Do not scrape, bulk download or automate access to the service.
- Do not attempt to bypass privacy floors, access controls or rate limits.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Availability and changes
Dreamgraph is offered as it is and as available. We may change, add or remove features, and there may be downtime for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update this page and the date on it.
Paid subscriptions
Dreamgraph is free to use. Logging dreams, your journal, your local observatory and connection alerts in every channel are free, and we do not intend to charge for them. Dreamgraph Premium is an optional paid tier that opens the wider views: the globe, the full sky of signals, cohort signals and anonymous excerpts.
Premium costs $4.99 AUD per month or $39 AUD per year. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. If you pay from outside Australia your bank may convert the charge to your own currency. There is no free trial.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The annual rate is a founding rate: we expect annual pricing to rise after launch, and while your subscription keeps running you keep the rate you signed up at. If we ever change the price of a running subscription, we will tell you before it takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, linked in your settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Premium access until the period you have already paid for ends. We do not give partial refunds for unused time, and that does not affect your rights below.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Nothing in this section excludes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a remedy if the service is not supplied with due care and skill or does not match its description.
Liability and your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right you have that cannot be excluded. Those guarantees apply regardless of anything written here.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it supplied again, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
